African-Centred Intercultural Therapy (ACIT)

 An eclectic approach integrating African-centred thought and Intercultural psychotherapy, which addresses 

culture, ethnicity, identity and spirituality (CEIS),

when working therapeutically to support individual

mental health needs. 

The psychological impact of issues that affect racialised and minoritized groups are also observed through a 

trauma informed lens. 

These elements are integral to working with persons from minority ethnic groups.
