1:1 Intercultural Supervision at Mabadiliko Intercultural Therapy CIC is currently provided by Beverley J Weston. Group supervision and professional, reflective non clinical supervision is also available dependent on circumstances.
Mabadiliko Intercultural Supervision aims to enhance the cultural competence of Counsellors & Psychotherapists. Enhancing the ability to be able to work with 'difference and diversity' in a culturally and spiritually sensitive way.
In addition to typical presenting issues, consideration is given to the clients racial, ethnic and spiritual background. Development of the therapists intercultural consciousness, self-perceptions and understanding is supported to increase their process of personal growth and transformation, which enhances transpersonal experiences and the therapeutic relationship
If you are a counselling/psychotherapy trainee finding the right supervisor can be challenging, especially if you are on a training course with ridged requirements. Beverley is an authorised supervisor and/or therapist for trainees studying at the following institutions:

My approach to consultancy is collaborative. I take great pride in supporting individuals, groups and /or organisations to find ways to adapt, enhance their leadership skills and grow.
My areas of interest are improving mental health services for people of colour and contributing to the decolonisation of psychological therapies training.
Beverley develops and delivers bespoke Mental Health training packages and presentations to meet the needs of your organisation.
